We have just received a most delightful 1984 Aston Martin V8 Volante. American issue dated 20th April 1984 and has had two owners who have clocked up a mere 48,096 miles! This series 1 Volante has the Weber carburetors and the factory fitted series 4 Coupe ‘Oscar India’ bonnet that featured in the James Bond movie ‘The Living Daylights’. This car has never required restoration and remains in excellent condition. The bodywork is as tight as the proverbial ducks bottom; all panel welds are nice and thin, thus providing nice straight lines. A few years ago the car was re-sprayed so the paintwork is simply astonishing. Attention was paid to the upholstery that was completely updated using high quality cognac coloured leather. The original chassis is free from any corrosion. She retains her original matching numbers engine a 5.3 l V8 producing a good 307 bhp. Of course this car comes fully documented including the factory build sheet and Car Record Card confirming its originality. Factory fitted extra`s include: cruise control, front fog lights, aircon. and an electrically operated soft-top. It is not often we get to see such a lovely V8 Aston Martin!!
